.The Plant Manager is responsible for driving continuous and significant improvements in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and working capital. This will be achieved by developing a world-class plant operations organization and methodically implementing the strategic objectives (a unique combination of strategic planning, strategy deployment, lean management, and manufacturing techniques).Responsibilities:Drive rapid, significant, and sustainable improvement in on-time delivery, lot size, lead time, and cost reduction.Provide the leadership necessary for the development and execution of a manufacturing strategy.Lead regular KPI reviews for the manufacturing team.Lead the development and implementation of the roadmap to achieve breakthrough operating performance.Coach and mentor an outstanding team.Ensure key manufacturing metrics and key performance indicator systems are consistently tracked.Continually evolve manufacturing efficiency and assess opportunities to reduce cost, taking aggressive action to drive financial performance.Oversee coordination of the manufacturing function with sales, marketing, design engineering, and other functional organizations.Continually benchmark best practices and drive use of such across responsible operations.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required.
