**Job/Position Summary**
The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the manufacturing of our temperature sensing products in Tecate Baja California Mexico. As a proven leader, the Plant Manager must be focusing on building a plant that is both growth and profit driven.
**Major Areas of Responsibility**
- Manages and leads the plant including production, quality, preventive maintenance, and on-time delivery
- Responsible for P&L in the manufacturing plant.
- Responsible for delivery on time and according to the company's demand plan.
- Ensure that products are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
- Coordinate, improve and control manufacturing processes and layouts.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance.
- Responsible for capacity planning, including equipment as well as headcounts.
- Drives overall operational excellence for Tecate Manufacturing site
- Manage direct reports: Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Supervisors, Maintenance, and logistics.

- Strong knowledge and experience in technical manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to overcome technical challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities including creating a culture of high performance and strong employee relationships with accountability
- Excellent problem identification and problem-solving abilities. Able to prioritize competing objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate the team.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both plant and business unit personnel.
- High integrity.
- Strong history with automation implementation
- Strong leader with experienced in matrixed organizations
**Required Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Technical, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of prior experience as a plant manager in a similar industry with a history of developing organizations
- Lean Manufacturing experience with proven implementation.
- SPC knowledge and prior implementation.
- High level language skills in Spanish and English are compulsory.
- Strong financial understanding as it pertains to Operations
- 5+ Years of SAP experience
- Experience leading a Maquiladora
