What you will do?This position supervises staff, plans and approves production schedules, budgets, designs, develops, and validates new equipment and manufacturing processes. Develops/releases successful projects and manufacturing methods, and maximizes efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.How you will do it?Using Microsoft Project, develops program plans, schedules, build plans, resource allocation plans, and budgets.Monitors program progress by conducting regular status review meetings and ad-hoc discussions with program support personnel.Works with supporting groups to prevent or resolve issues and ensure that program goals are met. Provides program planning and coordination for production, pilot build, qualification, and production ramp start.Responsible for researching and implementing the use of advanced technology in manufacturing operations.Leads the development and/or improvement of manufacturing processes.Specifies, quotes, purchases, and runs off capital equipment, tooling, and systems required for automated manufacturing.Manages Manufacturing Engineers and automation engineers through the preparation of detailed project process plans with estimated project task hours, costs, and timelines for development and production launch.Directs and coordinates engineering resources to complete tasks and projects on time and on budget.Oversees the research and development of new manufacturing equipment/software, processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.Improves manufacturing processes through review of all engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and adherence to engineering standards and project schedules.What are we looking for?Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.5+ years total experience.Experience implementing manufacturing automation systems.Computer proficient; confident with data analysis programs.Strong Program Management skills.Familiarity with Six Sigma tools for operational excellence.Bilingual (Proficient in English and Spanish).Knowledge of the following is desired:PCBA or Mechanical assembly and test methodologies.Materials supply management and logistics.MS Project, MS Office, and Visio.#J-18808-Ljbffr
