Descripción del empleoPosition Overview:Monday to Thursday from 7 am - 5.30 pm; Friday from 7 am - 3.30 pmProvide overall direction and supervision of the plant facility. Responsible for the development of all supervisors through training programs and to ensure that the plant has a trained and proficient workforce that accomplishes meeting department goals on quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the plant operation and meeting department and company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.Responsible for developing and training supervisors and employees, working within the guidelines of the Union contract and company policies.Responsible for quick and timely feedback to the plant manager on all exceptions regarding productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost, safety, and turnover.Responsible for monitoring KPIs needed to control areas of responsibility.Enable a safety culture that ensures our employees work in an environment free of risks.Participates in department meetings in the planning processes and in the test and development of techniques/processes.Other duties as assigned.Member of safety committees.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, Engineering preferred7+ years of proven experience in the role of Plant SuperintendentProven leadership guiding cross functional teamsLEAN Manufacturing Certification achieved and applied in proven experienceApplied knowledge and/or Security certificationAdvanced English proficiency (written and verbal)Proficient in Microsoft Package applicationsA strong attitude/disposition to achieve change and goals – "It CAN be done!"Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues; strategic thinking is a mustOpenness and ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and production team membersExcellent communication skills and people orientedAdded Bonus if you have:Welding certificationExperience in welding industriesPlease, submit your curriculum in ENGLISH only.Some considerations about the job:While performing the duties of the job, the Superintendent is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear.Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.While performing the duties of this job, the average plant temperature conditions range from 10° Celsius in the cooler months and up to 38° Celsius during the warmer months.All work stations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear and hearing protection; some work stations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited to gloves, aprons, and arm guards.Safety: Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times.Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions.Comply with all legislative requirements as outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.Dirección: ROGELIO GONZALEZ CABALLERO 600, PARQUE INDUSTRIAL STIVA, 66626 CD APODACA, N.L.Entrevistas de Lunes a Viernes de 07:00 am a 3:00 pm
