DE C.V.****Solicita**:**Plastic Engineering Manager****Descripción y Requisitos****Objetive**:Hands-on leader responsible for mananging the engineering and technical aspects of the SCA molding business unit including but not limited to processing, machine maintenance and tool maintenance and repair. Lead Injection molding technical groups by providing innovative solutions, simplifying and standardizing processing, and driving cost improvement initiatives.**Responsibilities**:- Hands-on leader that methodically and effectively brings together teams to drive bottom-line results thru all areas of the manufacturing operation.- Identify and deploy transformational change that includes improvements in manufacturing technology and processing methods, elimination of non-value added process steps, optimization of existing processes and standardized process designs that reliably deliver high quality products at the best cost.- Ensure consistency in the way manufacturing processes are engineered, documented and sustained by developing standardized process designs, process specifications and structured business systems.- Ensure new product launches are executed on-time and within budget with reliable and stable processes.- Align with key stakeholders to create innovative solutions and execution plans to drive completion of improvement activities with urgency.- Leverage lean concepts and industry benchmarks such as visual factory, standard work, error proofing, single piece flow, six sigma, kaizen, TPM and Industry 4.0 to simplify the organization and eliminate decisions in the design, manufacture, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting processes.- Improve and standardize cycle-based preventative maintenance programs by leveraging best practices.- Specify and request capital equipment budget and estimates that achieve best cost, process reliability, and volume/timing requirements to obtain the optimum solution. Specifications include detailed equipment specifications, required options, cycle time/capacity and any other special requirements.- Develop collaborative partnerships with new product development & provide design input/support.- Manage and supervise the maintenance activities of the equipment related to the molding operation to guarantee the correct state of the molding machines as well as their peripheral equipment.- Coordinate mold design staff and supervise their interaction with external engineering/design and product departments, as well as mold suppliers for the correct development and launch of new projects.- Coordinate mold shop personnel and resources to ensure effective mold maintenance, repair, and modification service.- Organize a technical support team for the maintenance and operation of the injection machine.- Participate daily in Gemba Production meetings.- Drive continuous improvement actions to meet or exceed KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)
