All this growth is based on talent and passion for innovation and continuous improvement, always in our way: simplifying the complex.What you'll do:Lead platform engineering, setting priorities and ensuring progress toward goals.Provide expertise in Monitoring/Telemetry/Observability platform engineering.Ensure platform quality through consistent development, testing, and documentation.Oversee platform outcomes, focusing on continuous improvement and KPI/OKR alignment.Manage budgeting, planning, team motivation, vendor contracts, and Level 3 support.Establish governance structures and best practices for platforms.Collaborate on platform architecture and development, ensuring alignment with business goals.Identify and implement new technology capabilities and support system demos.Maintain and manage the platform's software infrastructure.Requirements:What you should know to succeed in this role:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, and/or Management Information Systems from an accredited university or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience with Agile methods/methodologies, and leading SCRUM/Lean/Kanban teams.10+ years of relevant professional experience as a technology engineer, with 7+ years in a role managing platform teams.7+ years of experience enabling telemetry, monitoring, and observability environments using leading APM/AIOPS solutions (Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, ServiceNow preferred).3+ years of experience using public cloud infrastructure (AWS required, Azure desired).Proven track record of getting things done in complex organizations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Healthcare/life science/pharmaceutical industry experience required.Referenceable leadership, management, or key influencer experiences required.Ability to work in an agile and rapidly changing environment with high-quality deliverables.Previous experience managing global engineering teams and budgets required.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated presentation, communication, and influencing skills.Ability to think outside the box for innovative engineering capabilities.Knowledge of information management practices, regulatory requirements, and global data privacy laws related to the pharmaceutical industry.Proven knowledge of IT Service Management, Service Operations, and Service Release (ITIL v4 and ITSM).Working knowledge of DevOps CI/CD technologies and lifecycle
