.Eaton's AER ITD division is currently seeking a Plating Engineer.**What you'll do**:**BASIC FUNCTION**:Plating engineer will be responsible for enhancing the plating (chemical) processes. The individual will manage test work, prepare basic design packages (Flow Sheets, Mass Balance, Equipment specifications) and collaborates with the engineer leader with simulations for new process introduce.It will research and test new ideas on a bench/pilot/industrial scale as necessary; provide support to production department; support and coordinate process trials, testing, experiments and improvements, and ensure successful transfer of all projects from R&D to manufacturing. Additional assignments and duties may be required.**ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS**:A. Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions with cost analysis.B. Meet production and cost goals through diligent KIP´s.C. Developing of DMAIC methodology in improvement projects.D. Collaborate with different entities to assure the success of different chemical systems that will be provided for the use of the businessE. Supervises the projects that are related to chemical systems and the processes that are being handled by the engineers.F. Supervises and assure to Update the master PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)G. Creates new plating process and develop new product qualification.H. Oversee installation and operation of new systems to ensure that machines and equipment areinstalled and functioning according to specifications.I. Develop and maintain SOP, best practice manual, product design & engineering guidelines andother relevant documents to support smooth processes and technology implementation.Li-sL4**Qualifications**:- Chemical Engineering - University Degree.- +3 years of experience in plating process.- Plating process trouble shooting.- Risk analysis and Quality control.- Basic knowledge in WWTP (wastewater treatment plant) system.- Experience in directing and managing people in cross functional organizations and projects teams.- PFMEA.- Lean Six Sigma English 85%- Pack office**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:- Support and practice the Health and safety practices- Ability in project accountability and cost management- Strong team player with other technical and non-technical people- A practical and hands-on chemical engineer.- Has a methodical approach to work practices with strong emphasis on quality.- Must be a strong team player and an excellent problem solver.- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.**QUALITY SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITY**- Perform activities according to the Quality policies (EQS).- Complete annual revision of functional procedures.**CONTINUOS IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY**- Leading Continuous Improvement activities in my area of responsibility through the deployment and utilization of Eaton Business System policies and processes, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, EQS and others as applicable.- Active participation in Ideas program
