About the role
We are seeking a motivated POC Data Analyst to join our dynamic pre-sales support team. You will play a critical role in supporting the Business Consulting team by providing data-driven insights, building Proof-of-Concept (POC) supply chain models, and assisting Business Consultants so they can deliver successful POC demonstrations to prospects.
What you will do
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large and/or complex datasets, helping the sales team that will use that dataset to develop tailored demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Data Transformation: Transform prospect data sets into Kinaxis Maestro-compatible tables
- Supply Chain Modeling: Create the initial supply chain data model for the Proof of Concept from such tables
- Coordination: Work with Business Consultants and prospects during the Proof of Concept phase of pre-sales engagements as problems arise
- Creative Problem Solving: Identify missing/corrupt data and troubleshoot these problems
What we are looking for
- 1-2 years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in a tech, SaaS, or data-driven environment.
- Experience supporting pre-sales teams.
- Strong English language skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Teams).
- Strong Working Knowledge of / Proficiency in MS Excel ("VLOOKUP()" and similar functions).
- Preferred Technical Skills:
- Programming background/knowledge (JavaScript).
- Knowledge of database structures.
- MS Access Database working knowledge.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or data science concepts.
- Ability to create compelling business cases using data insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related fields is a plus.
- Background in Supply Chain Planning is a plus.
- Experience in the software, IT,
or data services industry is a plus.
