.The role of the Pool & Beach Assistant ManagerThe candidate must effectively coordinate and manage the operation of the Pool & Beach or any other supported area.Essential FunctionsEnsure that professional, courteous and efficient guest service is offered at all times, following the standards and sequence of service.Assign responsibilities and periodically evaluate their performance.Be present in the consumption center at all times of high occupancy.Perform flexible work schedules based on operation.Establish and maintain adequate equipment and product par stock.Make product requisitions.Place purchase orders.Perform preshifts before the opening of the beach and pool area.Handle any requests in a courteous and efficient manner, following up to ensure the guest is aware of the follow-up.Perform glitches in case of guest complaints or negative comments and ensure full closure of this, to the guest's satisfaction.Ensure that each employee has a professional personal appearance, as well as a professional, warm and sincere posture.Ensure that the department's financial goals are met.Ensure that all services are charged for and charges are made to the correct accounts.Control and turn in at the end of shift any cancelled checks with the respective explanation.Ensure good communication with all areas of the consumption center to ensure professional, error-free service.Documenting any training, disciplinary records and / or absenteeism.Quality check all tables to ensure guest satisfaction.Perform other duties as required, related to the operation of the pool and beach or the Hotel.Ensure that both the Front of the House and the Back of the House are in optimal condition.Knowledge and SkillsEducation :High school education or equivalent experience.Experience :Experience required in management positions minimum of 2 (two) years.Prior experience in Food & Beverage department is highly desirable.Skills and Abilities :Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.Ability to read, speak, and write English and Spanish at an advanced level.Understand and be familiar with quality standards and service standards of the hotel.Highest level of integrity and transparency.Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams.Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.Work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.Elevated Leadership skills and experience in a multicultural environment.Resort and remote location experience are desirable.What to Expect :Compensation : Highly competitive salary and EXPAT package with annual incentive plan.Travel : Earn complimentary room nights based on your service period with the Four Seasons with discounted meals and other services at each location.Learning & Development : Extensive online and in-person Leadership development opportunities
