You will guide them in selecting optimal solutions, that meet their specific needs, and be integral part of project with real impact on the world.How You'll Make an ImpactAs a Senior Consultant Network Studies you areLeading consulting engagements through completion, aligning and coaching your team from different technical backgrounds within a multi-cultural environmentLeading all aspects of the execution of analyses of power systems, engagements for transmission and industrial network planning, and grid interconnection studies of large generation, storage and load resources.Engaging with clients to work towards successful grid connection requests, highlighting potential risks and commercial implications.Supporting the integration of power electronic devices, renewable generation, storage devices, HVDCs, etc.
into AC grids (from conceptual studies to project execution).Supporting the analyses of high frequency phenomena like harmonic distortion, transient overvoltage, TRV, missing zero-crossings, or inrush currentsEngaging in business development activities by developing proposals to address our clients' challenges and putting together the appropriate execution team.What You Bring Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (Master's or degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in conducting power system analysis in steady and transient states.
Proven skills in effectively managing a team of experts.Expert knowledge in transmission planning and operating studies (100 kV ~ 765 kV), power system performance analyses including load flow, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination, short-circuit and transfer limits.Advanced skills in HVDC and FACTS applications, power transmission systems, industrial power supply concepts, power electronics and renewable generation.Experience in power system simulation programs ( PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink).Hands-on expertise in programming tools such as Python, FORTRAN, MATLAB, etc.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.Some Travel Required.Fluent English is required.RESUME MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH FOR CONSIDERATION.
