The PPAP Specialist secures that the project is rolled out according to our available procedures and that processes are used in a relevant and effective manner. He's the main Quality point of contact for project managers and project team members.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure the link between customer representatives, project managers, manufacturing, and other quality functions.Support the building of the QAP (Quality Assurance Plan for NPV/NPD's).Facilitate (ensure) Customer Requirements (CRs) are integrated into project scope.Review LLC's and other available quality information which may be relevant for the project.Contribute to Q & manufacturing targets in NPV/NPD's.Contribute or pilot ad hoc continuous improvement activities in the factory (related to QIP or specific spot needs like Kaizen).Coach Q mindset across the project core team.Work closely with the Field systems engineers to understand the customer usage of the product at their assembly location in the frame of NPD's (ensure applications inputs to NPD's).High skilled to work on projects from different areas at the same time.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:
Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a technical discipline.Preferred experience in the following quality tools: PPAP, MSA, calibration, Control Plans, PFMEA, and detailed manufacturing work instructions.Previous quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with preferred experience with IATF 16949:2016.Required experience in using problem-solving skills such as 8D's, 5 why's, fishbone diagrams.Proficient at Microsoft Excel and a statistical analysis program (Minitab).Advanced English proficiency.Employee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:
