PPS Battery Cell & Module Diagnostic Enginner will be Responsible to support and analyze execution of battery tray and package components within their process.Will organize Plant & Quality resources in order to efficiently lead efficencies on the implementation of projects during Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing processes for new equipment, trial production & launching and improving operations KAI's & KPI's.- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aeronautical, Controls, Systems, ChemEng, Physics or related engineering field from an ABET accredited/equivalent university.- Proficiency communicating in technical English language. Highly developed communications skills.- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in automotive or related industry.- Soft skills: Self-directed, collaborative (teamwork), ownership, sense of urgency/ agile, achiever, leadership & project management skills.- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink- Prior experience with software development and diagnostics tools (e.G., HIL testers, CANalyzer, INCA, etc.).- Prior experience with electrical/electronic components used in BMS hardware.- Prior experience with BMS software development and control algorithms.- Knowledge of vehicle communication networks and the usage of tools to extract data from ECUs for analysis.- At least 2 years' prior experience with electrified power trains and battery management.- At least 5 years' experience in automotive diagnostics and with the development and testing of battery systems in hybrid and/or electric vehicles- Trained and with experience in problem solving methods like Kaizen, Shainin (Red-X), RPOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
