.**This position is for a senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Project Management, who develops project plans and budgets. Identifies project problems, recommends solutions, documents project delays, performs critical path analysis, and presents progress reports.****Function Description**Serves as the face of the organization to customers.Manages geographic areas, business segments, product groups, or large programs.Oversees overall operational performance and success.Responsible for the accountability of the workforce in organizational operations and customer projects.**Discipline Description**Oversees and manages the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects, and liaises between project management and planning,project team, and line management.Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports.Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.Regularly interacts and interfaces with customers. May have business development responsibilities.**Responsibility Statements**Develops project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility and suggests appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.Documents and records delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule.Develops project budget and scope and pursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.Performs critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.Conducts meetings, consolidates, and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.**Basic Qualifications**- Bachelor Degree in appropriate engineering- Prior work experience analyzing/querying schedule data including critical path and schedule metrics- Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite- Experience in production and operations planning- Ability to decompose statements of work into their basic elements and transform them into workable program plan- Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction- **Nice to have**:- Organized- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teamS- New products introduction is a plusCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry
