**PRE-COMMISSIONING ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR** required by our Client to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Mexico.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of projects. They are responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying, and addressing non-conformances, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Project Oversight:
- Demonstrate good understanding of Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
- Monitor pre-commissioning progress against project requirements.
- Identify potential schedule delays and recommend mitigation actions.
- Contribute to the sign-off process of pre-commissioning task sheets.
- Interface and communicate effectively with construction teams to optimize schedules.
- Ensure system Clients are assigned and that punching, hold, and witness points are consistently applied.
- Inspection and Compliance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Verify compliance with company HSE procedures, standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor the proper succession of pre-commissioning and commissioning sequences.
- Follow established procedures for EasyPlant database preparation.
- Verify pre-commissioning and commissioning files and corresponding dossiers.
- Monitor progress of pre-commissioning activities and report findings.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Submit weekly reports to superiors and prepare special reports as required.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive inspection records.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Assist commissioning teams with commissioning and handover activities.
- Review generated reports and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Additional Duties:
- Carry out any other duties or tasks assigned by superiors.
**EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or inspection in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Strong understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
