Summary
Takes the daily activities of the Pre-print department, is responsible for individual graphic projects, maintaining a positive agenda with Customers and agencies to keep them updated and trained regarding the technical specifications of Rotogravure / SIG printing.
Controls design development and progress, as well as costs and communicates the results and opportunities per customer to the KAMS, Order Center and Directors on a regular basis.
Manages the entry of new or modified designs from domestic and international customers, plan and prioritize according to the needs of the sales department with the aim of meeting customer expectations, focusing on safety, quality, delivery and costs.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure that the design files meet global standards
- Work closely with the quality department to keep all processes up to date and to meet internal and external audits, responsible for investigating non-conformities with customer approved standards and assist with technical knowledge of those.
- Ensure, in alignment with the Pre
- Print Manager that the team makes their targets and objectives on time.
- Ensures physical integrity of his peers through their participation in safety programmes, through using safety tools and equipment and promoting a safe behaviour
- Evaluates and monitors quality for the suppliers of cylinders, inks and other materials, establishing methods and evaluation criteria according to our company's specifications to ensure supplier quality, and tracking and approving possible print samples of cylinders, inks and other materials to ensure the final result is produced as approved.
- Negotiate deadlines with cylinder supplier, discussing issues of layouts and colours of designs with agencies and our company, ensuring that artwork is suitable for the output expected by the customer.
Track the production of new designs, feed back to the print teams to adjust colours and ensuring the printed material matches the digital colour proof.
- Monitor costs and investments of the area according to the approved budget and ensure that material is available for production as planned.
- Act proactively and sustainably by being aware of and seeking to minimize the impact of your activities on the environment and commit to the company's environmental policy to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards
- Comply and work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the production of safe packaging for customers and consumers and participate in all quality procedures for which you are responsible to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards.
**YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**:
University degree of Administration, Marketing, Design, Production or Engineer.
3 -5 years of experience
Advanced English level
