You will play a crucial role in validating our designs before they go to market, ensuring that they meet rigorous standards and work flawlessly in consumers' hands.In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IC Design, Software, Systems, and Operations Engineering. Your expertise will be critical in developing and executing comprehensive verification plans to validate our designs against specifications, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability. By ensuring our products work as intended, you will help deliver high-quality technology to consumers worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed verification plans based on design specifications and architecture documents.Write and execute testbenches and test cases to verify complex digital designs using hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog.Perform functional and formal verification to ensure the design's logical correctness.Conduct simulation and debug activities to identify and resolve design issues.Collaborate with RTL designers to improve design quality and ensure verification completeness.Utilize industry-standard EDA tools for simulation and formal verification.Optimize verification processes for efficiency and thoroughness during the pre-silicon phase.Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on verification strategies and methodologies.Develop and maintain verification documentation and reports.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields.Strong experience in RTL verification using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.Over 1 year of experience in pre-silicon verification, functional and formal verification, and testbench development.Knowledge of VLSI design, digital design, CPU architecture, and semiconductor processes.Familiarity with EDA tools such as Synopsys VCS, Cadence Incisive, Mentor Graphics Questa, or similar.Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl for automation of verification tasks.Understanding of design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST.Hands-on experience with data analysis software (JMP, National Instruments, Exensio) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Physical RequirementsFrequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.Performs required tasks at various heights (e.G., standing or sitting)
