or Wed. thru Sun)Compensation: Varies depending upon experiencing and successful assessment placement:$25 - 28 dollars per hour with a shift differential of $1.60 per hour.Position Summary:Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair,and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the department's business goals and objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the department's equipment- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production an performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service periods.- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and department facilities- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performance duties- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to manager- Comply with safety regulations (OSHA and Company) and maintain clean and orderly work areas- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.Qualifications:- An Associate Degree (Técnico Superior Universitario in Mexico) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.Minimum of 3+ years of experience working on Italian (OEM) large format ceramic tile presses- Prior experience or proven aptitude for: strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.- Must be able to work on call due to 24/7 nature of operations- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier with necessary at times.
