Job DescriptionThe Preventive Maintenance Engineering Leader ECU is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the preventive and predictive maintenance systems as well as all required tools to support all of the ECU production manufacturing equipment, including SMT and semi-automated/fully automated assembly equipment. This critical role demands expertise in leading a specialized team that creates, executes, and optimizes preventive maintenance activities for all manufacturing equipment (hardware and software) in the area of responsibility. Such maintenance plans must support continuous improvements in production processes assuring customer quality, profitability, and competitiveness.Provide strategic leadership to the Maintenance Engineering group, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.Support the launch of new equipment in the FF ECU, guaranteeing optimal availability of spare parts and downtime reduction.Direct the optimization of specialized hardware, tools, and software crucial for running production via preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, focusing on meeting stringent quality requirements, minimizing costs, and maximizing equipment availability.Ensure strict adherence to process specifications across all maintenance activities.Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to meet and exceed customer expectations regarding maintenance activities.Continuously analyze and improve maintenance techniques to enhance equipment availability and reduce operational costs.Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-plant teams to address technical challenges and drive innovation in ECU production and equipment availability.Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Search for emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain our organization's competitiveness in ECU manufacturing.Prepare and present comprehensive reports on maintenance performance, projects, and strategic initiatives to senior management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic EngineeringAdvanced EnglishExperience:Automotive industryPreventive/predictive maintenance activitiesLeading technical teamsTroubleshooting & diagnostics failureKnowledge:Process, manufacturing & maintenance engineeringAutomotive quality standards and 6 Sigma methodologies (Advanced)Electronics control units manufacturing and industrializationSAPCompany DescriptionContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
