Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
- We are looking for a pricing analyst who will manage incoming pricing requests from Eaton global partners for material built in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and researching requests for pricing, coordinating with key stakeholders to obtain information related to pricing, cost, revenue, and profitability. You will then synthesize these inputs to produce formal quotations which you will dispostion to the requestor and load to the ERP. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of Eaton global subsidiaries, the US Eaton manufacturing landscape, as well as Eaton specific pricing structures and data. Over time, your insights and recommendations will help enhance and support Eaton pricing objectives and goals.
- Daily:
- Provide component pricing to overseas partners on non-registered products.
- Manage Global CPRO inbox containing pricing requests from Eaton subsidiaries and maintain a 24-48 hour turnaround time.
- Supply pricing authorization to Eaton subsidiaries on non-registered pricing or negotiated pricing on registered products.
- Partner with product line managers to determine price levels on non-registered products.
- Collaborate with division controllers to adjust pricing levels on registered component parts.
- Create and modify TSP invoices for Eaton subsidiaries and/or Global Eaton Care team to enter orders with negotiated pricing on non-registered products.
- Maintain and update Eaton contacts for product lines, controllers and subsidiaries.
- Maintain and update any pricing tools and/or spreadsheets.
- Utilize Technical Resource Center to identify customer part numbers and recommend replacements for obsolete products.
**Ad hoc (as requested)**:
- Collect and validate data from internal and external sources related to pricing, costs, revenues, and profitability.
- Perform data analysis and modeling to identify pricing opportunities, trends, and risks.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate pricing performance and impact to stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support pricing decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, product, and finance to align pricing objectives and goals. #LI-DG2
**Qualifications**:
- Education level required - Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
- Years and area of experience required - 2-4 years of experience in pricing activities- Proficient in Excel and familiar with Power BI
