Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.About the roleReporting to the Pricing Manager, the Pricing Specialist is primarily responsible for driving profitability growth of business for Mexico and Peru by executing effective pricing and incentives strategies.
Manage pricing data analytics for analysis, modeling, and reporting on factors that impact pricing and profitability.
Will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Risk and Wholesale team for pricing activities.
This role will also require working with local and IO teams to develop commercial offer & pricing proposals that support volume and profitability targets.What you needBachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration4+ years of work related experience in Pricing, Financial Modeling and/or AnalysisMBA is a plusFluent in both English & Spanish (will be evaluated)Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to analyse complex information and make proposalsStrong organizational and time management skillsAdvanced knowledge and use of MS Excel (Macros) with willingness to learn new systems (i.E.
SAS, Oracle)Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlinesOpen to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstancesQuick learnerStrong customer centric orientationStrong oral, written and presentation skillsWhat you will be doingDesign and model pricing strategies for a variety of campaigns that support GMF and GMMs targets, ensuring the commercial offer is alignedConstruct scenarios that support Pricing decisionsResponsible for the following components of the Local Pricing Committee: preparing the agenda, materials and minutes (including coordinate among the areas for the content of the meeting)Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Risk, IO Pricing Teams in providing timely and accurate pricing proposalsContribute in GMF negotiations with GMM as required by providing recommendations and counterproposalsEnsuring technical coherence of pricing data and codes in the Profitability ModelsEnsure commercial offer in the system is consistent with the approved oneWhat we offerAt GM Financial we want you to be the most authentic version of yourself.
