8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

The Local Originals & Sports Head of Media is the leader of local content and sports campaigns efforts for Prime Video across LATAM, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The person in this role will lead a team of media managers marketers to drive and convert awareness and interest around each country local original and sports into customer acquisition outcomes.
This role will be the single-threaded owner of all paid media channels, including TV, OOH, digital, social and programmatic. The person in this role will be a highly analytical and results-oriented leader scaling growth initiatives by working across both regional and local Prime Video teams, influencing product and tech roadmaps, driving measurement and tooling improvements, and partnering with brand and content marketing teams to deliver against their campaign objectives in the most efficient and effective manner.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop a strong and diverse team and fosters effective collaboration with other areas across Amazon
- Establish performance goals being accountable for business performance within their campaigns scope (subscribers, retention, cost)
- Define team structure and mechanisms for efficiency and scale
- Develop agency relationships and 3P partners to deliver against Prime Video goals while maintaining a high bar for operational excellence, innovation and ROI.
- Manage marketing budget and allocations to deliver on business goals
- Remove roadblocks for team (internal, external), working with peers and senior leaders.
- Collaborate across local content strategy and sports teams to acquire and engage priority audience segments in LATCANZ countries
- Input into roadmaps and prioritization with tech, product and analytics teams to support team goals
This role will require up to 30% travel, with direct reports based in Mexico City, Miami, and Sao Paulo with stakeholders in LA and Seattle.
