The Role AspenTech is seeking a senior level position within our Supply Chain Management Professional Services organization to help deliver AspenTech supply chain scheduling and planning solutions to our global chemicals and refining customers based in our NORAM office. Your Impact Gathering customer requirements and translating those into high-level solution designs for Aspen supply chain suite of products Able to articulate the value our SCM suites offer for our global customers Deliver technical documents such as Functional Specifications, Detailed Design Documents, as well as Site Acceptance Test Documents Building, updating, troubleshooting, running, and interpreting planning and scheduling models based on customers' requirements Be confident, capable, and able to play a proactive role, and soon a leading role on projects. Demonstrate collaboration with AspenTech Project Managers, involving technical to non-technical aspects of the project. Consult with clients to help build models to meet their corporate or business unit's KPIs, and apply industry best practices to steer customer's focus to more value-added activities Commissioning the completed systems, which may require on-site monitoring and analysis Participation in commercial proposal development and testing of software upgrades Conducting demonstrations, training, requirements analysis and system design workshops What You'll Need BS degree in Chemical, Industrial Engineerng or other relevant engineering degree. At least 7 years of consultancy, professional services experience in implementing Supply Chain software one of our focus industries above Some Experience with Programming languages, such as javascript, python, SQL, etc., is good. Ability to travel outside of the US (typical 25% travel to customers' sites) - part of the consultancy role. Excellent oral and written communication, customer relations, and presentation skills Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, and grit Fluent in English. Bi-lingual skills are a plus Possess an inquisitive nature and a need to understand why and how things are done Appreciate complexity and relish troubleshooting and solving problems for customers Team player, demonstrates excellent organizational skills as there is more than one project to support, and must have a can-do-positive attitude.
