Principal Equipment Engineer (3Rd Shift)

Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and- Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company- regulations, policies, and procedures.- Performs other duties assigned as needed.**Qualifications**:- High School, technical career or equivalent.- 8 to 10 years of experience preferably related to the position.- Work 3rd Shift schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 12am - 6am- Preferably trained in two or more of the following disciplines: electronics, mechanics, production, electro-mechanics, testing, quality and production and process statistical control, bio-medical or industrial.- Experience (current or previous) in the medical products industry.- Desirable 70% English.- Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated to the specific discipline.- GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) / ISO knowledge, preferably.- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, calibration procedures and quality systems, preferably.- Ability to use computers and related software.- Ability to use measuring and testing equipment associated with the specific discipline.- Knowledge of the Campus information systems, preferably.- Ability to successfully complete the departmental / corporate training courses in manufacturing techniques.- Ability to use the internal documentation change system (CPDM).
