Skyworks is seeking a financial analyst responsible for supporting manufacturing and management. Activities includes financial modeling associated with manufacturing (such as production variances, plant absorption, overhead activity rates, costing, spending, capital expansion, staffing changes, etc.), financial and management reporting, budget and planning process as well as supporting corporate finance initiatives. The senior principal financial analyst works closely with manufacturing and operational management, cost center managers, other BU Financial Analysts, as well as other functional controllers within the Finance organization.
Responsibilities include:
Prepares timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports for management and planning purposesFinancial planning and analysis for the plant and the business unit to drive strategic plans, annual operating plans, and other business initiatives and programsDeliver inputs to update financial forecasts monthly and analyzes budget to actual fluctuationsDevelop financial models to support alternative business outcomes to complex business issues and offer financial recommendations to business managementManage and control plant spending (operating and capital), staffing, within budget guidelinesParticipate in corporate development of key processes and evaluation criteria associated with projects, programs, and peopleAct as a liaison to corporate finance staff in the annual budgeting process and other top-down requests to ensure that they are managed appropriately and effectivelySupport the finance organization in evaluating new financial policies and procedures and in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and other corporate policiesRequired Experience and SkillsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or other related area; MBA preferredTen plus years of financial operating management experience with most of the experience centered on providing financial support to operating businessesAdvanced Excel and modeling skills and strong presentation skills a mustOutstanding analytical skills and proven ability to connect data analysis with business issues and decisionsExceptional results orientationSelf-starter with a high degree of personal initiative and cross-functional leadershipExperience with SAP or Hyperion preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact successfully with all management levelsExcellent project management skills and attention to detailSkyworks is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting diversity in the workplace.
