Work with a team of geophysicists to achieve a successful outcome on all projects. Drive software outcomes from the service work.Your Impact- Supports clients locally and remotely by working with a team of geophysicists to solve complex subsurface issues with state-of-the art software, properly using company resources, company processes and systems for project management, project execution, and project reporting.- Executes seismic interpretation and characterization projects to completion to customer satisfaction.- Understands technical and contractual requirements of projects to drive trust relationships with the customer.- Communicates progress of projects through weekly reporting and presentations. Can consolidate key methodologies and parameters in an informative end of project report.- Conducts projects with regular meetings with the client following the principles and best practices set by the Aspen Tech Subsurface Services team.What You'll Need- Minimum Bs in Geophysics or the Geosciences- 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in seismic interpretation and characterization including AVO, Seismic Inversion, Seismic Classification Methods, and Rock Physics.- Seismic interpretation experience in major exploration and development basins in Mexico- Must be capable of carrying out seismic interpretation and characterization projects in part or in full by independently making key decisions on methodology and parameterization.- Experience with Aspen Technology, Inc. Seismic Interpretation and Characterization Suite (SeisEarth, Stratimagic, Probe/Vanguard) or their equivalents.- May require a minimum amount of travel.- Cross geoscience discipline experience a plus- Advanced written and verbal skills in English- Competencies: Accountability/commitment, Communicates Effectively, Action Oriented, Collaborates, Drives engagement, Interpersonal Savvy, Plan and aligns, Instills trust, Technology Savvy.
