.TE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.**What your background should look like**:**Key Responsibilities**- Lead the Autonomous vehicle deployment efforts within the company through partnering with business unit leaders- Collaborate with sites to define savings potential associated with high impact robotic transformations- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of autonomous vehicle deployments as well as future opportunity.- Provide support needed to accelerate adoption of technology- through workshops, playbooks & content.- Collaborate with the IT, automation build, simulation and technology teams to strengthen skillset / competency within the plants and framework needed for successful deployment- Identify and share best practices & deployments across the business.- Own autonomous vehicle strategic roadmap for the company that enables growth, improves efficiency, flexibility and floorspace utilization.- Understand technology market & conduct continuous research to identify potential new suppliers, technologies, and solutions that can be integrated into the company's existing framework for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.**Background**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.- 7+ years manufacturing or warehouse experience required (operations, engineering, or logistics functions)- Ability to travel internationally 25-50%- Proven track record in successfully leading autonomous vehicle deployment initiatives within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.- Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiency and cost savings through lean transformations.- Strong background in developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring technology deployment success
