Contract specialists will be responsible for successfully managing contract changes post-award.This involves analyzing and responding to contractor correspondence in such a manner so as to not eviscerate the Client's rights and remedies under the contract.It also involves developing claims defense strategies and engaging Legal resources as required to implement such strategies.
Responsibilities You will Identify, solicit and select reliable contractors to supply consultant, speciality and construction services to support project execution. Negotiate terms & conditions, prepare contracts, monitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectives. Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to our company and the clients . About the project portfolio: There will be around 30 TSF projects (tailings dams) located in different mining sites in the Mexican Republic, planned to be developed in the next 5 years, owned by one of the largest mining groups in Mexico.
Qualifications - Internal Experience: 10+ years relevant experience preferably in Mining Projectsknowledge transfer and team player . University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.( professionals in administration, industrial engineering, business law or related to the position) Some job site or factory experience.
