In this role, you'll shape our design philosophy and bring it to life. This position requires both visionary leadership and hands-on execution. Your design insights will not only set the strategic course but will also directly translate into our product experiences across Web, Mobile, and VR platforms. Key Responsibilities Design Leadership & Execution: Lead and drive the design process across all platforms: Web, Mobile, and VR ensuring every user touchpoint reflects our commitment to excellence. User-Centric Design: Lead and directly engage in user research, usability testing, and needs assessments to ensure our designs resonate with our target audience. Hands-On Creation: Delve into every aspect of design, from conceptual sketches to high-fidelity UI/UX prototypes. Mentorship: Guide and collaborate with our design associates, creating a cohesive team that learns and evolves together. Quality Assurance: Uphold an unwavering commitment to detail and product quality, while fluidly adapting to the dynamic pace of a startup. Collaboration: Work closely with the CTO/Product Manager and the rest of the product team to align design initiatives with company objectives. Who We Are Looking For Experience: A robust portfolio showcasing your ability to create delightful user experiences. Experience with building AI products, Ed tech or mental health are advantageous. Detail-Oriented: A near-obsessive attention to detail, paired with a relentless pursuit of product quality. Adaptability: The wisdom to balance meticulous design with the agility demanded by a startup environment. Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Norwegian is a plus. Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated experience leading design initiatives, with a knack for fostering team growth and ensuring productive collaboration with technical and product teams.
