Job Description - PRINCIPAL PRODUCTION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (TEMPORARY 12 MONTHS - 2406220249W)Company: Johnson & JohnsonLocation: Juarez, Chih. / Plant SalvarcarPurpose:Independently, or under limited or null supervision, works on complex assignments that require considerable criteria, judgment, and initiative to solve problems and issue recommendations. The operations technician is responsible for maintaining, completing setups, and repairing the equipment of the production lines. He/she ensures that all non-planned maintenance work assigned to him/her for all production equipment is performed, keeping the expected levels of the Department in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).You will be responsible for:Providing solutions to problems in manufacturing of current and new models.Performing basic operational diagnostics tests.Analyzing non-conformant products in the production line; determining root causesand proposing corrective actions.Starting, adjusting, and operating basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment.Conducting tests and basic evaluations, experimental tests, and design proposal researches under operational conditions.Providing recommendations and technical support in new projects, process improvements, and quality investigations.Supporting diagnostics and analysis for product customer complaints.Performing inspections of his/her own work.Following standardized procedures while performing tasks.Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.Performing other duties assigned as needed.Level of Responsibility:Under limited supervision, performs tests and analyses, supports research, and provides feedback to associates of the failure analysis.Develops reports in PowerPoint and presents action plans to management.Leads and participates in process improvements, defects, and scrap reduction.Leads and coaches support technicians I, II, and Senior.QualificationsRequirements:Technical career studies or equivalent, high school or truncated career.5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.At least 4 years of experience in products manufactured by Biosense Webster or similar products.Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices.Advanced knowledge of problem-solving, failure analysis, and investigation.Ability to integrate into work groups.Ability to use measuring and testing equipment.Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation.Ability to learn about regulatory requirements (GMP and GDP).Ability to use computers and related software.Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
