Wideout is seeking a print coordinator to support the handling of print orders between job requesters, brand experts, designers, and print vendors.
This person will coordinate print orders of existing work that has been printed previously.
This position is also responsible for communicating print pricing, obtaining price approvals, placing orders, transferring final art files of these print orders with print vendors, and confirming print schedules.
The Print Coordinator will work closely with a U.S.Based marketing agency operations team along with our creatives, business partners, and various stakeholders to fulfill print orders.
**Duties and Responsibilities**- Serve as a liaison across multiple departments of various levels, maintaining regular contact with clear and effective communication- Use established print matrices to obtain print pricing- Communicate with print vendors for additional pricing as needed- Route all estimates, printer's proofs, and print specs to be signed and approved- Obtain final art files from our workflow management system- Confirm production schedule and due dates with job requesters and print vendors- Ensure workflow management system used for documenting and tracking projects is up to date- Ensure tasks are completed, clear completed jobs, and log hours spent on jobs before archiving**Qualifications**- 2+ years of proven work experience in a similar role, agency experience is a plus- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent- Experience with communicating with multiple clients of varied nationalities on a regular basis- Experience in the production of printed marketing materials (including, but not required, promotional merchandise and giveaways)- Experience in reviewing marketing assets is an advantage- Basic to intermediate pre-press knowledge- Basic proofreading skillsAbility to commute/relocate:- Ciudad de México: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
