Your team responsibilities

This role will support the Head of Private Capital Solutions Marketing with the successful integration of the recently acquired Burgiss solutions into the MSCI brand.
We have the opportunity to reposition MSCI as a multi-asset class investment industry solutions provider, beyond Index, by strengthening the position in Private Capital through the recent acquisition.
By combining Burgiss' comprehensive private asset data and analytics with MSCI's expertise in research, analytics, data and technology for investments across public asset classes, we are aiming to redefine total portfolio investing and build solutions that can help investors manage their complex portfolios and make better informed decisions.
As part of this, the focus will be to assist in developing the MSCI Private Capital Solutions positioning and unlock growth by actively developing and executing a commercial acceleration plan including expansion to new geographies and leveraging existing product portfolio in the short term.
Reporting to the Head of Private Capital Solutions, this individual will be joining an organization that has undergone tremendous change in the last three years and is growing at an extraordinary pace driven by product innovation and expansion of client use cases with impressive global marketing, commercial and client teams.
Critical to the individual's success is the ability to work across Marketing (within Product Marketing and with Brand & Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales Impact and Communications) and the Research, Commercial and Client Service teams.

Your key responsibilities
- Conduct market research on the target market, competitors, and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Assist in developing product positioning strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition to the target audience.
- Lead on the creation of marketing collateral, including sales decks, product sheets, case studies, and whitepapers, to support the sales team and generate leads.
- Work closely with the product, sales, research, and broader marketing teams to align marketing efforts with product development and customer needs.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Monitor competitors' activities, product offerings, and marketing strategies to identify areas for differentiation and opportunities for growth.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- 2-5 years' experience in B2B institutional marketing (pension funds, asset managers, endowments, foundations, and brokers) and financial advisors.
- Firm grasp of marketing principles, including product positioning, market segmentation, and customer lifecycle management.
- Ability to communicate succinctly and convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make data-driven decisions, communicate marketing results and optimize marketing strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with product managers, research and sales teams, and other stakeholders.
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, matrix work environment.
- Innovative thinking to develop unique and impactful marketing campaigns that differentiate the product from competitors.
- Basic understanding of financial services and SaaS platforms to effectively communicate the product's technical capabilities and benefits to the target audience required.
