Leads the Constrain Management for assure flow and quality and direct responsibilities to each member creating an accountability environment.
- Leads the execution of Maintenance plans optimizing resources need it and closely works with CMMS (Maximo MFM) system in order to preserve and support the Maintenance Management policy (MOS)
- Lead and coordinate a world-class maintenance excellence techniques and continuous improvement initiatives that increase the overall reliability, taking care of resources and budget.
- Manage and control the operation of the maintenance function and inspections so that it operates efficiently and within the agreed budget limits.
- Supervises production and maintenance tasks assigned according to established quality guidelines, specifications, and safety requirements
- Adhere to production schedule by establishing priorities and andon processes 0/100 (0 injuries, 0 defects, 100% flow), assigning personnel to work areas, monitoring progress, making personnel/priority adjustments, resolving line constraint problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries
- Provide leadership and foster effective teamwork to motivate staff and establish a work environment that maximizes opportunities for staff wellness and achieve job satisfaction
- Accountable for development planning of all personnel, including technical, leadership, and business skills. An active people succession plan is critical to ensuring proper development is achieved. Besides to plan and lead the Training Plan for Every Person.
- Collect information on the main KPIs/OKRs and implement the appropriate measures when necessary. Besides monitors its effectiveness across salaried and hourly team members
- Manage Personnel (internal regulations apply, time and attendance process, turnover, environment, etc).
- BS in engineering (or equivalent), MS preferred in a technical field (Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering)
- Professional experience: +2 years experience on automotive field
- In-depth knowledge and demonstrable competencies on Maintenance technologies
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office products
- Preferable knowledge of CMMS software (Maximo for Maintenance)
- Able to speak, understand, and write in English and Spanish at the professional level.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment.
- Excellent organization and coordination skills with ability to own the leadership and schedule with a track record of delivering production on time
- Leadership skills to teach, train, and lead others in the manufacturing process.
- Availability of Roll Shifts
