**Process Engineer.**
- Ensure the proper functioning of the SMT and Backend procedures in the automotive industry!_

We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as a **SMT and Backend Process Engineer**, based in our Apodaca Plant (**Apodaca, Nuevo León, México**).
As a SMT and Backend process engineer you will be on charge to develop robust and optimized processes through continuous improvement achieving greater security in processes and machines, greater productivity and cost reduction.
**Your Tasks will be**:
- Support Car Leader in product launching, production lines and processes designs.
- Contribute to cost reduction and the generation of techniques to the new products.
- Methods and tools development to increase the production efficiency.
- PFMA creation and actualization with the multifunctional areas: Quality, maintenance, shipping, and others.
- Processes improvements.
- Quality issues reduction.
- Production lines running maintenance.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the requirements of the test specifications in ICT/Flash equipment.
- Monitoring of KPI's for the implementation of solutions for the continuous improvement of KPI's (first pass yield, MTTA, MTTR, MTBF).
- Development and monitoring of robust maintenance routines that help improve equipment utilization.
- Software maintenance and control (Master Software List).
- Ensure the availability of spare parts.
- Develop troubleshooting for each team and a training plan for Technicians.
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Electronic/mechatronic engineering or any related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in SMT and Backend areas in the electronic automotive industry and **GM customer.**:
- Wave, paste, reflow soldering processes knowledge and experience.
- Terminal insertion knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge and management of SMT machinery: Fuji NXT, Pick and Place, GSM, and others.
- Six sigma, Core tools, AMEF/PFMA, LPA Audits previous experience, and process flow knowledge.
- English level advanced.
