Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, is headquartered in Plymouth, MI, and operates more than 20 facilities with about 4,700 employees across the Americas.**Responsibilities**:- Maintains and improves process capabilities using appropriate tools and methodologies including PFMEA (process failure mode effects analysis), Poke-Yoke, OEE (overall equipment effectiveness), FEA (finite element analysis.- Inputs and analyses numerical data and all other sources of information to break them into component parts, patterns and relationships and uses analysis to identify successful workflows to optimize processes.- Reviews KPI monitoring systems and uses technology to achieve key metrics.- Develops best practices, identifies and leads Six Sigma projects and champions a continuous improvement culture- Supports NPI activities in preparation of successful product or process launch.- Ensures that all local, legal and Freudenberg requirements regarding health, safety and environment are fulfilled.- Supports the creation of training documentation and delivers training where appropriate.**Qualifications**:- Engineering Degree in Industrial / Mechanical, Mechatronic or related disciplines.- Minimum two years' experience in manufacturing fields, including automotive and rubber molding process.- Experience with team-based product development / AIAG standards, with hands-on experience with AMEF / SMED, Control plans, and PPAP submission.- Process management experience preferred.- Strong background & experience in process analysis methods (e.G.
