**Position Summary**:The Industrial/Process Engineer II works closely with Operations and Facilities functions to bring about continuous improvements of fabric reinforced elastomer diaphragm manufacturing processes, to provide engineering expertise to the plant maintenance process and provide support for capital and EH&S projects.**Essential Job Functions**:- Collaborate with other manufacturing functions to drive continuous improvement and reduction of variability in rubber molding / trimming processes (e.G., strip cutting, pre-forming fabric, ink stamping)- Establish and monitor equipment schedules to increase equipment up-time and minimize production disruptions- Evaluation and improvement of production tooling (e.G., cutting tools, molding tools, trimming tools) design functionality and maintenance- Facilitate Environmental, Health and Safety programs for the site as needed- Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards- Provide process engineering support to plant maintenance- Provide input and support for site-wide capital projects- Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process- Become an SME on diaphragm manufacturing processes and be willing to mentor and coach others in the organization to increase the knowledge base**Education / Experience Required**- Bachelor's Degree, Engineering- Minimum of two of experience in process engineering required- Experience in a Lean environment strongly preferred- Experience with rubber molding preferred- Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement preferred- Effective oral and written communication skills, English and Spanish required- 3+ years in the diaphragm or elastomeric seal molding industry- 3+ years in rubber or plastic manufacturing- 3+ years in fabric processing- 3+ years in rubber compounding**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**:- Ability to plan, organize, and multi-task to meet deadlines- Understand the relationship between elastomers, fabrics, and adhesives used in the diaphragm molding process.- Knowledge of raw materials necessary for diaphragm production- Knowledge of the diaphragm production process (elastomer storage, milling, calendaring, extrusion, fabric forming, rubber/compression injection molding, and quality control)- Initiative-taking, self-sufficient, and capable of working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment- Mechanical aptitude and visualization skills.**Job Competencies**:- Action Oriented- Communicates Effectively- Customer Focus- Nimble Learning- Manages Complexity- Collaborates
