Denso is a Japanese company with an international presence in more than 35 countries and has made us a leader in the automotive sector, being the main supplier of auto parts for manufacturers such as: Toyota, Audi, Honda, Ford, Nissan, Chrysler-Fiat, GM Etc.We are looking for a Specialist in stamping processes.Position Mission: Enhancement of stamping process (Defects analysis, adjust reduction, best quality, lower cost, potential troubles detection, space optimization, SMED, etc.)
through trends, data analysis, PDCA and experience.Position Responsibilities:- Experience on stamping process, stamping progressive dies, (30, 45, 110, 300 TON) required.- Implement new products and engineering changes, control investment & installation for new equipment, set machine processing parameters and validate process capability, design and procure production tools & jigs for performance enhancement.- Generate, monitor and control short term work plans (Gantt).- Enhancement of stamping process (best quality, lower cost, potential troubles detection, space optimization.)
through trends and knowledge- Prepare & update process documentation: Flow Chart, PFMEA, Control Plan.- Production troubleshooting (cause-effect analysis, improved by following PDCA).- Implement Kaizen projects: increase operation efficiency, cycle time reduction, manpower rationalization, MUDA reduction, etc.- Direct contact with parent companies (Denso America and Denso Japan).
**Requirements**:- Experience on stamping process, stamping progressive dies, (30, 45, 110, 300 TON) required.- Fluent in verbal and written English.- Proficient in MS Office, Excel is essential.- Previous experience 2-3 years in automotive industry and/or engineering areas related with stamping press process (30 to 300 TON).- Proactive, analytical, willing to work with a multi-functional team and take decisions.- Willing to work on weekend and long working hours if required.- Knowledge of Statistics, data and pattern interpretation.- Other desired skills/knowledge: technical English; use of Visio, Project and SolidWorks software; interpretation of engineering drawings (GD&T); Fishbone Analysis;Core Tools.Benefits you will enjoy by being part of the Denso family:- Competitive base salary- Above the law benefits:- Food vouchers- Saving Fund- Insurance of major medical expenses- Lunch service- Transportation, among others
