**Job Description**:
**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Problem solving and analysis related to processes and test equipment in manufacturing areas.
- Software development for PLCs and HMIs.
- Software and system debugging, including PLC, control, and automation.
- Preventive Maintenance Routine Creation for tools and machinery.
- Design and integrate reliable and robust hardware, software, electrical systems, and communication systems for the manufacturing area.
- Develop and provide training of their processes assigned to the service group, such as Technicians, and other Engineers.
- Definition, acquisition, and registration of spare parts for their assigned equipment.
- Technical support to production in events related to their assigned processes.
- Ensure safety and compliance in processes.
- New machinery definition, acquisition, installation, validation, and liberation.
- Technical support in launching new products.
- Define and implement measures for process improvement, such as cycle time, uptime, and quality.
- Being an active member of international multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop semi-automated processes in an automotive electronic environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Digital Systems and Communications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Bilingual English & Spanish; German is a plus.
**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE**
- Over 3 years of experience in process engineering.
- Strong leadership, proactive, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in analog and digital electronics.
- Interpretation of electrical diagrams.
- Interpretation of pneumatic and mechanical diagrams.
- Analysis and interpretation of electrical/SW/HW failures.
- Experience in creating and interpreting capacity studies and MSA.
- Experience in data matrix or barcode reading systems.
- Experience in vision systems.
- Experience in structured programming languages (including PLCs).
- Experience in automatic pressing and dispensing processes.
- Database management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
