Sonova Mexico is seeking a Process Engineer who is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing improvements to existing manufacturing processes and methods. Must recommend equipment for use and develop jigs, fixtures, and tools to aid in the assembly of hearing aids. This role requires contribution to team effort. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: - Investigate and correct process problems as they are identified by internal and external customers - Identify, develop and implement improvements to the existing manufacturing processes and methods - Identify, develop and implement quality improvements in manufacturing - Develop jigs, fixtures and tools to aid in the assembly of hearing aids - Recommend equipment for use in manufacturing - Develop and implement process work instructions - Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as need - Fully manages and/or participates in implementation of new equipment and processes, on-site validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), training of necessary staff and updating process documentation. - Perform other duties as necessary or as requested by manager
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering - Knowledge and experience in FDA QSR requirements and preferably ISO- 13485 requirements. - Creates and maintains process work instructions associated with all manufacturing processes such as manufacturing assembly and in-process acceptance procedures. - Develops and execute Process Validation Protocols or/and Transference Plans and generates test reports. - Creates and maintains process risk assessments, pFMEA - Supports investigation, disposition, and corrective action of non-conforming materials - Establishes statistical process controls (SPC) for manufacturing operations - Understanding of analog and digital electronics - Minimum 3 years of experience - Excellent analytical skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems. - Proficient with computer and information technology. - Able to work in a team environment - Respecting and expressing appreciation for others - Being able to work well with others, present ideas and listen to others' ideas, and work and cooperate in heterogeneous groups - Demonstrating context appropriate behavior and ability to behave according to social norms - Learning agility - Designing and redesigning equipment to improve the processes in the factory - Ensuring the safety of employees - Ensuring operations run smoothly - Maintaining, testing and monitoring equipment in the plant or factory and ensuring all equipment meets health and safety standards - Collecting and analyzing data - Keeping costs down and within the factory budget - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Corel Draw - Basic knowledge of CAD and concepts (such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc). Desirable: experience in refurbish process of electronic cards or boards.
