**MAIN FUNCTIONS**:
- Oversees the adequate manufacturing capabilities of Fabrication Processes, CNC machines, Ovens and other equipment.
- Can perform activities, such as: Planning and Scheduling Activities and Resources; Analysis (Methods and Measurements, Machines, Maintenance and Materials); Design (Product, Process, Equipment, etc.); and Project Management.
- Possesses and Applies Knowledge on a wide variety of Techniques, Practices and Procedures within an Engineering specialty, which allow the Solution of Complex Projects and Problems that require Analytical Capability and Initiative with a minimum level of Supervision.
- Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Engineering Function.
- Evaluate Process Performance as it relates to the Flow of Materials, Cycle Time, Takt Time and any other process metrics.
- Evaluates Process Changes in methods, machines, equipment and layout to develop the best solution to increase yield and improve quality levels.
- Supports continuous improvement projects within the company and remotely with other HFN sites.
**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Bioengineering or related)
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt. (Black Belt desired)
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- 3 to 5 years within Engineering (Manufacturing Systems, New Product Introduction, Process Reengineering, Maintenance, etc.).
- 1 to 3 years of CNC machinery desired
**LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY**:
- Advanced
**COMPUTER USAGE**:
- 3. Intermediate (Use of Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) and
- Application Programs as MS Project, AutoCAD, VISIO, etc.
**SKILLS**:
- Requires Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
- Proven experience with engineering concepts.
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possesses strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to work with equipment and maintain accurate documentation records.
