Process Engineer Ensamble

**Process Engineer Ensamble**Responsible for setting up and optimizing new mold processes using scientific molding, supporting production with highly complex molds, assisting the development of new tooling, integrating new technology into the facility among other day to day items.
**Functions and responsibilities**:- Develop processes and procedures for new molds including, sampling new molds, setting up auxiliary equipment, operator instructions, assist engineering with packaging- Update processes and procedures to ensure that documentation is accurate and understandable- Analyze part prints to ensure parts meet customer requirements when sampling new molds and ensuring that tolerances are achievable- Develop mold PM frequencies and adjust as needed through weekly analysis of tool conditions using knowledge of resins and tool design to prevent premature tool wear- Involvement in new tool design, material selection and existing tool modifications/repairs- Perform process improvement projects including but not limited to, cycle time reduction, process optimization, new equipment, etc.
to improve efficiency and reduce cost.- Perform troubleshooting on plant equipment and systems- Train technicians to aid their development through the tier process.
**Requirements and specific knowledge**:- 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar position.- Business English.- Knowledge in Office and Inventory and Manufacturing Software.
