.**Equinox Engineering - Professional Opportunity in Mexico City**- Position: Process Engineer_At Equinox Engineering ltd. in Mexico City, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced English-Speaking Process Engineer. We specialize in oil and gas processing, providing top-notch facilities design, implementation, and operational assistance for natural gas, conventional, and heavy oil projects. With a strong presence in the industry, we serve clients globally and are currently engaged in a diverse portfolio of projects, including sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility, and pipeline projects.The Process Engineer in Mexico City will play a crucial role in the process system design of multi-discipline projects. Working on multiple projects simultaneously, the Process Engineer will ensure the timely delivery of all project components, from practical concept to commissioning.**Key Responsibilities**:- Support the Lead Process Engineer in coordinating and communicating various issues affecting process engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance.- Execute Feasibility Studies, Conceptual Design, Process Studies, and Detailed Engineering Design.- Conduct process simulations and modeling of oil processing facilities, with expertise in PipeSIM.- Develop key design documents, including Material Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, and Shutdown Keys.- Perform line sizing, PSV sizing, and preparation of equipment process data sheets.- Demonstrate the ability to assume the responsibility of Lead Engineer when necessary.- Conduct process troubleshooting, optimization, variability reduction through SPC, and process improvement.- Provide process training, WHMIS training, and assistance during new process start-ups.- Monitor and reduce chemical usage, water consumption, and assess environmental impact.- Mentor the department in environmental best practices and assist in justifying capital projects.**Key Skills**:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience in sweet and sour gas projects within an EPCM environment.- Broad exposure to heavy oil, sweet and sour gas facility design, and construction related to field facilities and processing facilities.- Familiarity with technical specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.**Education and Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.- Minimum 5 years of oil and gas experience in an EPCM environment preferred.- Process design experience, including mass balances, process flow diagrams, and process support services.- Systems design experience, including piping and instrument diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, hazard and operability design reviews, and systems support services.- Proficiency with HYSYS and PipeSIM, and related simulation software.- Proficiency and a clear understanding of the English-Speaking Language**Our People and Culture**:- Generous vacation allowances.- Flexible Work Schedules for a healthy work-life integration
