Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the VP, Operations, this role involves directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to the engineering function. Responsible for leading a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization. What a typical day looks like: Designs, implements, and develops product & process controls, testing, and manufacturing processes. Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems. Establish and improve process capabilities. Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations. Improve throughput in constrained areas. Develop, test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and lead cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas. Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured. Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas. Leads process engineering team in the development of new products introduction, design intent, process controls, documentation and solid PFMEA management, adherence. Assures that processes meet quality, safety and customer compliance. Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management team members and customer. Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously. Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services. Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration. The experience we're looking to add to our team: BA/BS or equivalent work experience Strong Knowledge in Plastics Acknowledge of automotive standards (IATF, PPAP, Core tools, APQP) PLC Programming knowledge. Strong risk mitigation strategies knowledge. Control tools knowledge, such as: statistical process control (SPC) NPI experience Advanced English. MS Office (Excel, PP). Experience in High Volume & Low Volume BoM structuring Systems integrity Core Tools Leadership Problem Solving Detail-oriented Teamwork Green Belt/Black Belt certification is required.
