Job SummaryPrinciple Accountabilities:Performs set-up of processing equipment.Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.Processes test runs and prepares records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.Line change configuration.Performs corrective maintenance.Follows escalation procedures.Education / Experience:Typically requires an Associate's Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training. Successful completion of company provided training may be required. Typically requires 6+ years of related experience.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.Scope / Impact:May direct other employees; in some sites, functions as a working supervisor with large scope of responsibility. Assists in developing goals/targets of line or department. Moderate impact.Decision Making / Discretion:Determines quality/testing methods/procedures on new assignments. Decisions may affect department/function.Supervision / Leadership:Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often leads or supervises the activities of other nonexempt personnel.Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
