**Process Engineer**
**Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world**
As Process engineer you will play a key role for leading NPI' CapEx and Process Improvement projects with medium complexity mainly for the healthcare area in out San Luis Potosi plants.
In this role you will be able to lead and implement Division / PP COE Source of supply strategies regionally including technology transfer projects.
**The impact you will make in this role**:
- Elaborate Manufacturing feasibility studies
- Lead global cross-functional teams and implement programs involving significant manufacturing emphasis and medium business impact
- Support in the Value stream analysis and project prioritization
- Support and audit product portfolio management (ie.
total delivered cost)
- Lead and audit the implementation of product and equipment documentation (ie.
bills of material, time standards, product prints)
- Identify and implement Cost Out opportunities utilizing quality improvement tools and methodology (ie.
Lean Six Sigma)
- Partner with NTI Teams, including Corporate Process Labs and the Division Laboratory Groups to develop and implement Disruptive Technologies in Manufacturing
- Collaborate with Manufacturing sites on Process/Product Improvement projects
- Collaborate with manufacturing in the troubleshoot of major or critical issues
- Support Plant performance metrics improvement and support the quality system in the LA COE in audits, new certifications, complaint troubleshooting and other quality related activities
**Your Skills and Expertise**
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Process engineer or Manufacturing Technology
- Language = Fluent in English & Spanish.
- Ability to travel is required
**Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include**:
- 2+ Years experience in a Manufacturing site as Process, Engineering or Product Engineer
- Demonstrated facilitation, communication, and teaching skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Project Leadership and Lean methodology experience
- Project Management / Ability to engage and influence the organization
- Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers
- Experience in selecting **/ **evaluating vendors and transferring processes/equipment
- Familiar with some of the following technologies: web coating technologies, mixing and compounding, equipment automation, assembly lines, web converting, nonwoven technologies, Injection molding
