Process Leader AOI
An exciting opportunity to join a leading automotive electronics manufacturer and play a key role in launching their newest state-of-the-art plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico!
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Process Leader AOI to lead our automated optical inspection team.
You will be responsible for developing, programming and maintaining all AOI systems to ensure quality control and optimal performance in our SMT and THT assembly lines.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Programming, validating and optimizing Omron, Yamaha and Viscom brand AOI systems
- Providing AOI expertise to cross-functional teams and conducting training for production technicians
- Managing AOI vendors and projects to facilitate plant expansion and new product introductions
- Supporting launch and optimization of AOI processes as we scale production
- Collaborating with experts from Germany, France and other regions to implement inspection standards
To excel in this role, you need:
- 3-5 years hands-on experience programming AOIs in electronics or automotive manufacturing
- In-depth understanding of 2D and 3D AOI programming
- Strong grasp of IPC standards, common AOI defects, and repair processes
- Team player with analytical abilities and outstanding communication skills
- Fluency in English to coordinate across global sites
