We are seeking a highly skilled Discrete Event Simulation (DES) Engineer to join our team. This position offers ambitious individuals the opportunity to accelerate their career growth while contributing to a distinguished company.**What You Will Do**- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing process objectives and develop solution strategies.- Leverage process and analytical knowledge to determine DES modeling objectives, methodologies, assumptions, data collection/analysis, and validation approaches.- Construct accurate DES models to support data-driven process and system design and improvement decisions.- Communicate DES modeling approaches, assumptions, input data collection/analysis, and result interpretation to stakeholders effectively.- Deliver simulation findings clearly and concisely to influence and drive manufacturing decision-making.- Travel domestically or internationally up to 10%, as required.**Who You Are (Basic Requirements)**- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Computer Science, Operational Research, or a related- Good experience in Discrete Event Modeling and Simulation of complex manufacturing systems.- Hands-on expertise in developing simulation models using custom code such as scripting languages, or any coding experience.- Good logical thinking skills.- Experience in a manufacturing or production operations environment.
