Requisition ID: 34152- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDue to increased customer demand **Danfoss Sensing Solutions** is establishing new Sensor production lines in Apodaca, Mexico. For the Sensor growth journey, we are searching for a **Process Technology Project Manager** to be a part of a new established team As Sensing Solutions Process Technology Project Manager you will play a key role in establishing our new highly automated production line for Pressure Sensors. You will work with state of the art process technologies and digitalization. As a part of your onboarding, you will receive product and process training on a similar production line in China. Here you will be working closely together with our Chinese colleagues in one or two turns each with a duration of 3-4 weeks.
You will play an important role in the finalization of the new production building in Apodaca by working on the detailed production layout and secure close communication & cooperation with the Danfoss building dept. and local contractors. Furthermore, you will participate in Run in and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of all equipment mainly in Europe. During this phase you will drive the creation of the necessary documentation like PFMEA, Control plan, MSA, Work instructions, Capability studies etc. for the new production line. Upon shipment of the equipment, you will participate in the setup, Run in and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) of the equipment and systems in Apodaca. You will be co-responsible for training of Process Engineers, operators and Maintenance Technicians and in parallel ensure finalization of all needed documentation to enable a smooth production ramp up. After the above described first phase, you will be responsible for stabilizing OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) and optimizing First Pass Yield in the production line. Future tasks will contain introduction of new product variants on the above equipment, supporting with necessary new equipment. At the same time you will also participate in product development projects like A2L Gas Sensing where you will be responsible for establishing the necessary production equipment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supply chain responsible in New Product Development projects
- Implementation and ramp up of new production lines
- Develop production concepts to secure a Lean production setup
- Equipment specification and equipment supplier selection in close cooperation with the Global Process Technology team
- Production layouts and material flows
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 documentation
- Plan and manage process changes related to Quality, Capacity increase or New Product Variants
**Background & Skills**:
Master or Bachelor of Science or equal
- Min. 5 Years of operational experience
- Preferrable with implementation of new production equipment and High volume Automated Production (Mechatronic products)
- Experience with Project Management, implementation of new production equipment & Lean manufacturing
- Experience with relevant production processes like Laser Welding, Soldering, Test
- Measurement systems
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing
- Fluent in English, verbal and in writing
- Six Sigma Green belt preferred
- IATF 16949 methods and processes
- Continuous improvements focus

- Travel is part of the position. (Europe, China and Mexico), 40 - 60 traveling days must be expected
