.**Introduction/Overview**:Join our team as the **Procurement Assistant**, a key position that significantly contributes to the strategic success of our company. This role is instrumental in shaping our organizational operations and driving procurement initiatives.**Essential Duties and Functions**:- Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with USG regulations, policies, and strategic priorities, implementing effective internal controls and client-oriented procurement management systems.- Prepare procurement plans for the office and projects, monitoring their timely implementation.- Establish internal procurement procedures and manage workflows in the assigned business unit.- Collaborate with projects, stakeholders, and donors to align procurement strategies and plans effectively.- Implement monitoring systems and controls for procurement processes, ensuring compliance with USG rules and regulations.- Review and certify submission of documents to internal procurement review committees.- Contribute to physical verification and assets management processes.- Maintain management information and ensure proper filing, archiving, and records keeping for audits.**Additional Experience Pertaining to Law Enforcement Procurement**:- Collaboration with Law Enforcement Agencies.- Understanding of Law Enforcement Procurement Regulations.- Integration of Security Protocols.- Strategic Partnerships with Law Enforcement Suppliers.- Knowledge of Law Enforcement Technologies.- Risk Management in Law Enforcement Procurement.**Qualifications**:- Position is for Mexican National.- High level of proficiency in both English and Spanish.- Proficiency in office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and advanced knowledge of procurement systems and platforms.- Familiarity with USG regulations, rules, and procedures is advantageous.**Education**:- Master's degree in business administration, logistics, public administration, procurement, supply chain, or related field required. Bachelor's degree with an additional 3 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree.**Experience**:- A combination of five (5) years of experience on an administrative position within a professional setting, with a minimum 2 years (with Master's degree) or 3 years (with Bachelor's degree) of relevant experience in public sector procurement management at national or international levels.**Work Modality**:- This is a full-time on-site position, based in Mexico City.- Occasional travel may be required for events and activities.- Flexibility in work hours to accommodate recruitment needs and operational demands
