**PROCUREMENT** ASSISTANT MANAGER**:**Function**:Procurement Logistics**Location**: Mexico - Bosques**WL**:1C**PROCUREMENT LOGISTICS LATAM**Procurement Logistics is part of a Global Procurement Organization within Unilever that works closely with Customer Operations Organization. The Procurement Logistics Team in Latin America is responsible for €500M Logistics spend annually in transportation, warehouse, pallets and re-pack portfolios.The Procurement Logistics Assistant is responsible to support transactional activities for Procurement Logistics Buyers for Latin America, including Transportation rates maintenance, New vendor creation and Contract management in order to ensure the proper Business integrity and Contractual framework in place.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**- Update Transportation rates in LBC system for 45 carriers.- Efficiently manage the vendor onboarding process, including supplier evaluation, documentation, and system setup- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor profiles in our procurement systems.- Administer and monitor supplier contracts to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and pricing agreements.- Collaborate with the legal department to draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts as necessary.- Regularly update and maintain pricing and rate structures in our procurement systems.- Analyze market trends and negotiate favorable rates with suppliers to drive cost savings.- Work closely with key suppliers to monitor and promote sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to our Responsible Sourcing Program guidelines.- Utilize data analytics tools to track and report key procurement metrics.- Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and logistics, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.**S**KILLS AND **E**XPERIENCE** R**EQUIRED**- Higher professional education / university degree- Supply Chain experience (Planning and Logistics Operations) is a welcome plus- English and Spanish written and verbal communication skills- Excellent analytical skills with ability to extract, organize, analyze significant amount of data- Team and Project management- Attention to detail and aptitude to solve complex problems
