The Carrier Development Manager is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and building strategic relationships with transportation providers (carriers) to ensure a strong logistics network that meets the company's transportation needs. Their goal is to optimize transportation capacity, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs, while ensuring reliable and high-quality service.Key Responsibilities:Carrier Relationship Development and Management: Identify and negotiate agreements with new carriers to expand the transportation network, manage and review service contracts with carriers, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, conditions, and service levels.Rate and Contract NegotiationCarrier Performance Monitoring and ImprovementTransportation Capacity ManagementRegulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure carriers comply with local and international transportation regulations (customs, road safety, etc.).Requirements:3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or carrier development.Proven experience negotiating rates and contracts with logistics providers.Experience in evaluating and analyzing carrier performance (KPIs).Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP, and shipment tracking software.Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong business relationships.It is a must to have at least 2 years of experience working in a Freight Forwarder.English speaking ability at Advanced level (required).Compensation and Benefits:Salary starting at $40,000 MXN gross per month (final offer will be based on candidate's experience).Annual bonus.Benefits based on Mexican Law.Insurance of Major Medical Expenses.Work Schedule:Full-time position.Monday to Friday.10-hour shifts.Application Questions:Do you have the level of English to maintain a business conversation?Do you have an active database of carriers?Which Freight Forwarding companies have you worked for?Work Location: In-person employment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
